WW2 Iron Cross Medal Set

The set comprises of A First Class Iron cross, a Eastern Front Winter Medal and its brown paper envelope, a mounted trio of Second Class Iron Cross, 13 March 1938 Anschluss Commemorative Medal and The 1 October 1938 Commemorative Sudetenland Medal, the ribbon bar for all the one mentioned above and a document referring to the Austrian campaign.

The document indicates that the soldier was Xaver Bucherl from the 5th company of the 91st Infantry Regiment.

The medals come in a black leather box with a blue silk liner on the reverse of the lid.

The 1st class Iron Cross is stamped L59 for Alois Rettenmeyer. I cannot see a makers mark on the 2nd class Iron cross.

The medals have standard dimensions.

The box is 7.87 inches (20 cm) wide by 6.88 inches (17.5 cm) deep.

The set weighs 460 grams.

The set is in very good condition.
