The Cup and Saucer look like a pair, which is very rare to find. Both are nicely marked with the Heer eagle, "H.U." which stands for "Heeres Unterkunft" literally meaning army accommodation - basically the Nazi Army supply (Quartermaster) group. The saucer is also maker marked "Rhenania, of Duisdorf, Bonn" and dated "1939".

Rhenania Porzellanfabrik GmbH was a porcelain manufacturer based in the Duisdorf district of Bonn . Between 1904 and 1958, hotel tableware and decorative porcelain were produced here.

*Condition*

The cup and saucer show light signs of wear commensurate with age and service. The markings are clear. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
