WW2 German Luftwaffe Lieutenant Colonel Fliegerjacke – Channel Jacket - Fighter Pilot

For sale is a blue-gray Lieutenant-Colonel Luftwaffe flying jack, otherwise known as the Channel Jacket. Flight jackets came in many different varieties & materials with the strain on German production due to Allied bombing of factories leading to outsourcing of uniform manufacture to small factories in German allied territories. Rather uniquely, a clothing label is still visible and is dated to ‘1940’.
