WW2 German Major Luftwaffe Fliegerjacke – Channel Jacket - Bomber Pilot

For sale is a Major blue-gray Luftwaffe flying jack, otherwise known as the Channel Jacket. Flight jackets came in many different varieties & materials with the strain on German production due to Allied bombing of factories leading to outsourcing of uniform manufacture to small factories in German allied territories. Rather uniquely, a clothing label is still visible and is dated to ‘1940’.
