*WW2, German, Kriegsmarine Officers Parade Dagger and Scabbard by W.K.C. with Original Hanger*
A fantastic Third Reich Kriegsmarine officer dagger with brass wired bound white cellulose covered grip. The dagger features a brass eagle with Swastika pommel, brass cross-guard embelleished with fine acanthus leaves with button-lined ends, a central press-release button amidst a fouled anchor. The brass scabbard features a ‘lightning bolt’ design and mounts for suspension rings. Engraved on the ricasso is a Knights Head followed by the initials W.K.C. the makers mark for ‘Weyersberg Kirchbaum and Company,' Solingen. The typical double-engraved blade is in mint condition with perfect anodised etchings of fouled anchors, dolphins and arabesques. The dagger also has its original black velvet suspension straps with gilded aluminum lion bosses.

The dagger is in remarkable condition. The white cellulose covered grip is excellently preserved. The brass on the handle and the scabbard is fantastic and rust free. In addition the steel blade retains its final detail. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
