The bayonet comes with composite bakelite grips, a beautifully crafted steel blade, hilt and black painted steel scabbard.

The ricasso bears the manufacturers mark "Waffenfabrik Mauser A G". The same side is marked with the serial number "947".

The bayonet comes with a fully functional spring catch release button for attachment to make it a great addition to any G98 rifle.

~ Dimensions ~

The blade has a length of 14 ¼ inches (36 cm) and the sword in its scabbard has a total length of 20 ½ inches (52 cm).

It weighs 855 g.

~ Condition ~

There are some light scratches on the blade but the item presents well.

The steel has developed some surface rust and the blade developed surface pitting but overall the item is in fair condition for its age.
