~ Early Victorian Era 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Warrant Officers Or Master At Arms Sword And Scabbard ~

A rarer variant of the standard 1827 pattern Officers sword. This type has a black grip (rather than the officers white one), less etching on the blade and a plain pommel (rather the the officers lion head one). The guard bears the Queen's crown.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. The grip and guard are in good order, the blade is quite pitted towards the tip. The catch works firmly. The scabbard is worn and the top chape is loose.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 92 cm (36.25 inches) in total length with a 79 cm (31 inches) blade.
