The launcher comes with its deactivation certificate dated 27/3/1997.

Just above the small trough at the front the launcher has it's serial number stamped (45326).

The foot stand is extendable and is also removable.

Through its current deactivation the back end is welded in place so it cant be loaded and two pins are welded through the barrel. The trigger moves freely with no resistance suggesting it is no longer connected.

~ Dimensions ~

The launcher has a barrel length of 9 inches (22.75cm), with a total length of 37 inches (94cm). The launcher has a diameter of 4 inches (10.25cm).

It weighs 7.63 Kg.

~ Condition ~

The body has some surface wear, such as paint chipping and general usage wear. The foot has some rusting.

~ PIAT ~

The Projector, Infantry, Anti Tank (PIAT) was a British hand-held anti-tank weapon developed during the Second World War. The PIAT was designed in 1942 in response to the British Army's need for a more effective infantry anti-tank weapon, and entered service in 1943.
