A genuine World War 2 U.S. Legitimus Collins & Co 1250 machete & sheath.  Stamped ‘Legitimus Collins & Co 1250’ and dated ‘1940’. This machete was issued to the Canadian army to be carried on tanks and vehicles in Europe, due to a shortage of British machetes the Canadian Army awarded the contract to Collins & Company in 1940, the machete was assigned the model number 1250 and was known as a Canadian Army Knife Bush.

*Condition*

The machete itself is in very good condition. The blade has very nice light patina on it and the grip has few marks. The leather sheath is very much strong and sturdy. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
