This item is a 4.5 inch shell from a British Navy cannon from 1939. It stands at roughly 69.5cm (27.4 inches) and has a base diameter of 16.8cm (6.6 inches). The base is inscribed with “4.5 Gun VI Lot 53 ICI 1939 CF”
