*WW1, Trench Art - Pair of 2 Pounder Vases or Candlesticks, dated 1916 by M.D. Co, and 1917 by V.S.M*

Mounted on wood bases with curved lips. In 1915 the Vickers 2 pdr gun was primarily used on most of the Royal Navy fleet as an anti aircraft gun. WW2 saw them back in service again with smaller vessels and in ground mounted form.

Approximate measurements: 7" total height, 5 1/4" without base.
