~ WW1 Trench Art 1913 French Shell Case Souvenir Of War Engraved With A Floral Spray ~

The case is engraved with a floral spray with the French for 'Souvenir Of War' in a banner over. There is a flower stem to the reverse and a stippled band to the lower rim. The top rim is cut into a spread. The base is stamped for a French 75mm shell case and is dated for 1913.

~ Condition ~

The shell case is in good order, it would benefit from a polish. There is one dent.

~ Dimensions ~

The shell case is 24 cm (9.5 inches) tall. It weighs 1.05 Kg.
