~ WW1 Spiked Pickelhaube Cloth Cover ~
An original First World War era pickelhaube helmet cover.
The cover, designed to fit a spiked pickelhaube helmet is of a light brown/green cotton material with sewn in metal fasteners for secure attachment to the rim of a pickelhaube.
The cover is painted with regimental unit marking ‘R 11’ to the front in green.

The cover is of the standard size.
~ Condition ~
The cover is in a good clean condition with no damages. A couple of the fasteners have a little rust which has discoloured the fabric in the area it is attached.
