~ WW1 Trench Art Mills Bomb Converted To An Inkwell On A Ceramic Stand ~

The inkwell is made from a WW1 Mills bomb grenade and rests on a black ceramic stand. The top of the grenade has been cut and hinged so it can be used as a desk tidy or ink well.

The front bears the text 'Memento Of The Great War Actual Hand Grenade Casting As Used By The Allies'

and the rear 'Regd No 651542 1915'.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in good order. The grenade is missing its handle.

The piece is 11 cm (4.25 inches) tall. It weighs 0.92 Kg.
