This is a 3 medals awarded to a pair of Brothers for service in the First World War. This includes the War Medal 1914-1918 and Victory Medal awarded to Gunner F.R. Linington R.A. and the Territorial Efficiency Medal awarded to Driver F. Linington R.F.A.
The Territorial Efficiency Medal was a military award granted to members of the British Army's Territorial Force who had completed 12 years of service with a high level of efficiency. It was first awarded in 1908 and was replaced by the Efficiency Medal in 1930, which was awarded to all three branches of the Reserve Forces. Awarded to F. Linington.
The Boxes are included along with the delivery packaging addressed to 19 Adelaide Street, Portsmouth.

The Medals are in good condition with some age related marks, the Boxes are slightly damaged and the packaging is rather fragile.
