~ WW1 Imperial German K98 Bayonet, Scabbard, Frog And Sword Knot ~

The blade has a long single fuller to both sides running down two-thirds of its length. The guard is stamped 142 R 11 764.

The sword knot has a crimson wool pommel with deep maroon fringes and a wooden stopper. The scabbard and frog are of black leather. The grip is of wood with a striped grip.

The ricasso bears the Imperial crown and ERFURT.

~ Condition ~

All elements are in good order, the grips are complete, the catch works well.

~ Dimensions ~

The blade is 52 cm (20.5 inches) in length and the total length is 65.5 cm (25.75 inches).
