This is a 1917 shell which would have been fired from an Astro-Hungarian 8cm FK M.5 cannon. These cannons were utilised by Germany and this particular shell was made in Dusseldorf as inscribed on the base.

*Condition*

The shell is in good condition for its age with no significant dents or marks anywhere. Please see pictures as these form part of our condition report.
