This helmet has been post war refurbished with replacement decal but still retains the original liner and chin strap.

It has had the unusual divisional 1st Foot Guards Regiment or 1st Guards Signal Battalion Crest called the “Hohenzollern”

These divisions were part of the “Imperial German Garde Korps Regiment” 1917/18.
