A WW1 French Schneider Shell Case, dated 1917 with various markings to base (see images).
9cm diameter, 38.2cm tall.
The brass shell case is dated 1917. The Schneider field gun was used widely used by both Allied and Axis forces. Seeing action in both world wars. The Nazis captured lots of these guns during WWII and issued them to various units throughout Europe.

The shell case is in decent order. Please see images for further details.
