Here we have a Death Plaque and original scroll with the Kings message for Private George Bulbeck. Private Bulbeck lost his life on 26th September 1916.
of the Hampshire Regiment. Framed in Portsmouth by John W. Mills of The Arcade who was trading during WW1 so we assume this is period.
There bare notes taped to the reverse that refer to its place in part of a collection.
*Condition*
The Plaque is in excellent condition and has had a wire loop soldered to the rear for hanging purposes. The frame and scroll are in very good order, there is some blemishes to the inside of the glass, we did not want to remove the back to clean as all is original and it is not terribly detrimental.
