~ WW1 Crested China Figurine Of John Bull For Kirkwall ~

The figurine is of the iconic British character John Bull, in his typical pose of top hat and hands in his pockets.

The base has a gilt band, the manufacturers stamp is not present.

To the fore is the crest for Kirkwall, the largest town of Orkney, an archipelago to the north of mainland Scotland.

I doubt there are many Orkney pieces around.

~ Condition ~

The figurine is in excellent order, the gilding is decent. The transfer is in good order too.

~ Dimensions ~

The figurine is 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) tall.
