The Pattern 1907 bayonet, officially called the Sword bayonet, pattern 1907 (Mark I), was a British bayonet designed to be used with the Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) rifle. The Pattern 1907 bayonet was used by the British and Commonwealth forces throughout both the First and Second World Wars. This particular bayonet is unit marked and was made in 1918. It would have been used during World War 1. The bayonet is well looked after and is complete with its original scabbard.

*Condition*

The blade has its original finish with no rust or pitting. An excellent example of the 1907 pattern. The handle and grip are completely undamaged with very minor pitting on the pommel. Some loss of finish to the leather scabbard. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
