WW1 British Officers Hat

This is a nice example of a WW1 officers pattern peaked hat.

The piece comes with its brown leather chinstrap, kept in place by two buttons, one on each side.

The lining of the piece is made of brown silk and in the middle, on the ‘burned’ plastic lined section we can observe the manufacturers label:

‘FUGHTS Ltd, Military Tailors and Outfitters, New Bond Street, London W. I., Aldershot, Camberley’

The sweatband of the cap is made of brown painted leather.

The cap comes without a badge.

The size of it is Small.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in good used condition for its age with few moth holes.

The piece is quite stiff.
