~ WW1 9th Cyclist Battalion Hampshire Regiment Cold Weather Cap ~
A decent example of the winter pattern khaki ribbed wool cap with black fur front and fold-down ear and neck section.
It has the Hampshire Cyclists cap badge on the front.
Inside is the quilted cloth lining.
This is stamped W D for the War Department with the broad arrow and is dated for 1915.
It bears the maker's label Hobson.
