A set of WW1 period time "Fernglas 08" binoculars in case for a German officer. The left hinge is marked dated VII 16.
*Condition*
Due to its age previous working life, the condition of these Fernglas 08 binoculars certainly shows wear. The leather box has various minor marks on it. One strap is broken. The binoculars are in better condition than the box with some light pitting in some areas. The leather strap attached to the binoculars is degraded somewhat. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
