Great War British SMLE Sword Bayonet By Sanderson In Great Condition

The Pattern 1907 bayonet, officially called the Sword bayonet, pattern 1907, was a British bayonet designed to be used with the Short Magazine Lee Enfield rifle. The Pattern 1907 bayonet was used by the British and Commonwealth forces throughout both the First and Second World Wars. This one is complete with its original leather scabbard, it has a date stamp for October 1916 and the correct proof marks. The makers name Sanderson is also stamped on the ricasso.

*Condition*

In excellent condition for its age, The blade has 1 nick and very minor pitting in a couple of spots, The button works well and the grips show their age but have no damage, The pommel and cross guard darkened with age but not heavily pitted. A really good example.
