~ World War 1 Era Light Infantrymans Pouch ~

Here we have the belt or webbing pouch of a light infantryman.

This pouch likely belonged to a military member of a central powers army, with the bugle being a universal symbol of the light infantry in Europe - this one looks very similar to that of the Hungarian Mountain Corps.

It is in remarkable condition for its age, the leather with some cracking and with only one tear - it’s still remarkably supple for a piece of equipment from a common soldier.

~ Dimensions ~

The pouch is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) wide.

The pouch is 2 inches (5 cm).

The pouch weighs 125g.

~ Condition ~

The pouch is in quite good condition for its age with minor cracking and wear.

There is one tear to the edge of the flap.
