~ Well Finished Cased 1776 HMS Pegasus Victory Models, 1:64 Scale ~
The 1/64th scale Victory Models construction model of HMS Pegasus. This Victory Models model ship kit makes extensive use of laser cutting for all the wood sheets. The fittings, parts and timbers are only the best available.
The model is held in place with two metal poles and sits inside a glass case. The model was made from the Victory Model kit over the course of many hours.
Built by “P.Holmes Shipwreck Cowes England”, as written on a small bronze plaque within the case.
~ H.M.S. Pegasus ~
HMS Pegasus was a 14 gun ship sloop of the Swan class, launched on 27 December 1776. She was commissioned the same month under Commander John Hamilton Gore, after completing on 3 March 1777 she sailed for Newfoundland on 3 April. She was lost with all hands in a storm off Newfoundland in October.

The case has a length of 36.5 inches (93 cm) a depth of 16 inches (41.4 cm) and a height of 28 inches (71 cm).
~ Condition ~
The model has been constructed to a high standard and is complete. The case is in excellent condition.
