~ Vintage Gilt Brass And Shell Lidded Box ~

Probably from the 1950s, the piece is layered with geometric shell slices. Both the inside of the lid and body, as well as the underside are gilded. Either to be used as a cigarette holder, pin tray or to hold rings.

~ Condition ~

There is very minor wear to the gilding. The shell work is in good order.

~ Dimensions ~

The case is 12.5 cm (5 inches) wide by 7.5 cm (3 inches) deep by 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) tall.
