The heavy steel blade has a long, slender fuller to both sides along 2/3rd of its length. The brass tsuba has four flowers to each side. The grip is of woven cord and the pommel is of brass.

It is a rough and ready piece, a wall hanger only. Part of the cord is missing.

The katana is 89 cm (35.5 inches) in length with a 67 cm (25.5 inches) blade.
