~ Victorian Ladies Glove Box ~

As the title suggests, this is a wooden  box that a Victorian lady would have kept her gloves in.

The box has a hinged lid with flap down front and features beautiful inlaid brass floral marquetry to the lid and keyhole surround.

The box is lockable but unfortunately there is no key.

~ Dimensions ~

The box measures 17cm (10 ½ inches) by 11cm (4 ¼ inches) with a height of 9cm (3 ½ inches).

It weighs 565g

~ Condition ~

The box has a few knocks and marks as to be expected but overall is in good condition commensurate with age.
