~ Victorian Gothic Revival Gilt Bronze And Enamel Case ~
A fantastic quality case with four angelic faces set above a cobalt blue enamel base with Gothic scrolling and a lined interior. It is most probably French.
~ Condition ~
The gilt and casting definitions are excellent. The enamel is surprisingly good with just a few tiny surface chips.
The hinge works well and the lid clips in tightly.
~ Dimensions ~
The case measure 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter with a rim height of 1.8cm (0.75 inches). It weighs 160g.
