A nice quality sterling silver open faced, key wind pocket watch dated 1898.

The watch has a plain silver case with a circular shield motif to the reverse.

The watch has a white dial with black Roman Numerals, an outer minutes ring and two gold coloured hands.

There is a subsidiary seconds dial at the six o’clock position.

The dial reads ‘Improved Patent’.

The watch is hallmarked inside the case for sterling silver, Chester, 1898 with a makers stamp of ‘TPH’.

It also bears the serial number of ‘315815’.

The watch comes with a key (not original).

The watch case has a diameter of 5.5cm.

The dial has a diameter of 5cm.

It weighs 158g

~ Condition ~

There are a couple of tiny marks to the case as to be expected of a piece of this age,m but otherwise the watch is in a really lovely condition with no damages.
