The piece is of brass, originally gilded, formed of a circular stepped base with green velvet underneath, surmounted by a spread winged eagle supporting the watch stand cartouche with a hook on scrolls.

~ Condition ~

The gilding is virtually worn away, the piece is in otherwise good order and solid.

~ Dimensions ~

The stand is 15 cm (6 inches) tall and the base diameter is 10.5 cm (4.25 inches).
