~ Very Early Serial Numbered East India Company Sabre By Wilkinson ~

Something rare and interesting, a dream for some collectors with quite a few things that make it a unique piece.

The sword is an extremely early serial numbered Wilkinson sword made for the East India Company Navy (purchased by the EIC and not an individual officer) with a custom scabbard (steel and brass intended to appear like a leather and brass scabbard that appeared to be favoured by officers in the 1850's and occasionally made by Wilkinson). The serial number is 5134, making it the 134th serial numbered sword ever made by the Wilkinson Sword Company.

The sword is a combination of a few different odd rarities and a brilliant collectors piece.

~ Condition ~

The sword has an even patina and a small section of damage to the throat of the scabbard.
