The Browning M2 machine gun dominated the weaponry of American bomber and fighter planes during WWII. To meet the high demand for ammunition, numerous companies began manufacturing the .50 caliber round. This round measures 5.5 inches (140mm) in total length, with the bullet seated within. The casing alone is just under 4 inches (100mm) long, with a primer end diameter of 0.75 inches (19mm) where the headstamp is located. The bullet typically extends 2.25 inches (55mm) from the casing, with a diameter of 0.50 inches.

Good used condition. the tip of the projectile is broken. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
