~ Two-Piece Christening Set Of Baby's Spoon & Pusher c1941 ~
A lovely cased silver christening set comprising of a babys spoon and pusher.
The pieces are of a plain but elegant design.
Both pieces are hallmarked for Silver, Birmingham with a makers mark of ‘L.Ltd’ most likely for ‘Lanson Limited’. The pusher is dated 1941 while
the spoon is dated 1942. It is quite normal to find a slight difference in date with silver sets such as this.
The set comes in a case of textured black leatherette with a cream silk and black velvet interior.
~ Dimensions ~
The spoon measures 11.5cm (4 ½ inches) in length.
The cased set weighs 119g.
~ Condition ~
The set is in a lovely condition with no damages. The hallmark to the spoon is quite worn.
The case is in good order with only light wear.
