This is a 1903 Pattern Lee Metford bayonet for the Lee-Enfield SMLE. The design combined the P1888 blade and crosspiece with a new pommel design. The bayonets 12 inch double edged blade is unfullered with a medial ridge running from the ricasso to the blade tip. The ricasso of the blade is marked Chapman Sheffield 1903 and various other inspection stamps. This bayonet is with its originalscabbard and frog, we have not seen a better one, this really is a one looker.

The bayonet and the scabbard are in fantastic condition. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
