The piece consists of a length of silver chain with a T-bar to one end and a lobster clasp to the other.

There is a further shorter length of chain with a fob attached.

The fob is highly decorative and set with a rectangular bloodstone (dark green with red specks).

The chain is unusual in its design being a simple curb chain with the added detail of faceted silver ‘beads’ between links.

The fob is hallmarked as is the T-bar. The chain has multiple assay marks proving it is of sterling silver.

The clasp looks to be silver plated brass.

The main chain has a length of 28cm (11 inches) plus the shorter chain 7.5cm (3 inches).

Total overall length including fob is 39cm (15 ¼ inches)
