This is an original Spanish Matador’s sword. These swords are used in Spain and many other countries with a Spanish cultural influence. Bullfighting on foot became a means for poor, able-bodied men to escape poverty and achieve fame and fortune, similar to the role of boxing in other countries.
*Condition*
This sword is in excellent condition. The blade has some areas of light pitting. Please see pictures for more detail.
*Dimensions*
The blade is 75 cm long and the overall length of the piece is 95cm.
