~ Silver Statue Of A Horse & Jockey Sheffield 1996 ~
A nice splendid Silver Statue of a mounted jockey, hallmarked at the base for sterling silver (filled), made in Sheffield, date marked for 1996 and made by Camelot Silverware Ltd.
The horse is stood in an upright position with the jockey sat on his back, the saddle is numbered 5. The jockey is holding the reigns in his left hand.
The base is lined with green felt.
~ Dimensions ~
The base has a diameter of 7.5 inches (19 cm) by 3 inches (7.5 cm), the statue has a height (on base) of 8.75 inches (22.4 cm). It weighs 0.970Kg.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in excellent condition over all, very shiny with minor surface wear, there is some accumulation of pink powder (ex silver polish) between the jockey’s legs which could easily be removed with the right tool.
