The Arisaka Hooked Quillon is a bayonet designed for use with the Japanese Type 99 and Type 38 rifles during World War II. Its unique feature is a hooked quillon that could be used to trap and disarm an opponent's weapon. The bayonet also featured a sturdy blade and a wooden handle with a metal pommel. This particular item features a serial number ‘30116 0’ and what is thought to be Japanese imperial stamps on the end of the grip.

*Condition*

Overall the bayonet and scabbard are in good condition. The blade is nicely preserved with some light pitting. The scabbard is also nicely preserved with no visible scratches or dents. The metallic end of the wooden grip does feature some pitting. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
