A scratch built, one-off, solid body waterline model of a circa 1925 United States Coastguard cutter (CG171)

The CG171 was built by Rice Brothers, E. Boothby, ME. In 1946 it was acquired by the War Shipping Administration.

The model is of solid wood construction with some nice detailing set on a calm sea on a flat baseboard.

~ Dimensions ~

The model (on base) measures 49.5cm (19 ½ inches) by 14cm (5 ½ inches) with a height of 18cm (7 inches).

It weighs 940g

~ Condition ~

There has been a repair to the main mast (see images) but otherwise the model is in a very nice condition with no other damage.
