This is a post 1936 example by a scarce maker. The dagger has a steel blade etched 'Alles fur Deutschland' (Everything for Germany), with maker`s mark for Solingen logo and marked“Kaufmann & Sohne”. The brown wooden grip is inlaid with silvered eagle and swastika and enamelled circular SA device with nickel plated fittings.

The piece comes with its original nickel mounted scabbard, the top plated mount with a single suspension ring.

*Dimensions*

The blade has a length of 8.75 inches (22cm) with an overall length of 14.5 inches (37cm). It weighs 425 g.

*Condition*

The scabbard has been stripped of its paint.

The blade has aged but it remains fairly clean.

The grip has some light scratches but it is in decent condition with minimal wear.
