A Royal Navy ships Engine Order Telegraph dating to the 1970’s, most likely by Chadburns.

The telegraph has a steel body in gunmetal grey with a bronze coloured handle/indicator and a plastic domed cover protecting the white dial within.

The telegraph is fitted with a cable and plug as the dial can be illuminated.

The telegraph is mounted on a simple wood base.

Height - 90cm (35 ½ inches).

Width - 40cm (15 ¾ inches).

Depth - 30cm (11 ¾ inches).

~ Condition ~

The plastic cover has some stress damage in parts (see images) though is free from any actual breakage.

There is wear to the paint in parts.

The dial when plugged in is partially illuminated (may need a new bulb).

The telegraph is overall in good vintage condition. The indicator moves freely.
