This sword has no number and no makers mark that we can see, the top half of the blade is etched to both sides with a Georgian Crown, and the other with R.I.R. and the Irish Rifles cipher.

Royal Irish Rifles Officers 1827 Pattern Sword And Scabbard

A good blade with little to no pitting and is undamaged. The Shagreen grip is in good order and is complete with its original wire, the pommel and knuckle guard are not marked or pitted, however there is a slight misshape to the lower rear of the basket. The scabbard shows its age with various scuffs and scratches. Please see the pictures.

A very nice example in good condition.
