~ Royal Doulton Stoneware Lord Nelson 1905 Trafalgar Centenary Loving Cup ~
Issued by Royal Doulton on the centenary of the battle of Trafalgar, the two handled cup is beautifully moulded with raised tube-lined details. It is coloured navy blue with mottled green and brown glazes.
There are 2 medallion shaped patterns on either side of the cup, surrounded by a rope decoration.
One side of the cup says...
Lord Nelson, Born-1758, Died-1805
Whilst the other reads...
"England expects every man will do his duty".
The bottom stamps are...
