~ Royal Doulton Limited Edition The Three Musketeers Loving Cup With Original Certificate ~
This twin handled vase was issued in 1936 and the embossed jug depicts the characters from Dumas's novel.
One side depicts the three musketeers - Athos, Porthos and Aramis - along wd'Artagnan, their protege. On the other side is their nemesis, Cardinal Richelieu.
It was designed by Charles Noke and was issued as a limited edition of 286 out of 600. It comes with its rare, original certificate and is signed in pencil 'Charles' by Noke.

The piece is in excellent condition, free from chips and cracks.

The loving cup is 25 cm (10 inches) tall and 28 cm (11 inches) wide across the handles.
