This AK47 bears the fire selector marks SAR the upper mark A and lower mark R - suggesting that this is Romanian, S is for "Safe, A is for "Automatic" and R is for "Repetition" and were the markings used on Romanian guns made for export. The rear sight mark is P which stands for "Priveliºte", which translates as "landscape", "outlook", "scene", "sight" or "view". Another alternative meaning of the "P" would be "Pogrom", which translates as "battle". The factory mark however suggests that it was made in Russia. The serial number has some faded letters that may be BP followed by 3724 with another number 44867 stamped below.

*Condition*
The Rifle is in good condition, with signs of wear and tear on the wooden foregrip. The pistol grip is slightly loose. The Bolt moves. The Stock unfolds and locks into place, at some point it looks like the stock may have been broken and rewelded. The magazine can be removed. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
