~ Relic WW1 German M16 Helmet And Shrapnel ~
The helmet is in relic condition with a large shrapnel hole and other perforations.
The top is painted 'Fleur's 1917', one side 'Australian 26bt 1916-18' and the other 'Shrapnel helmet'
~ Condition ~
As well as the damage mentioned above, there is general corrosion. There is no liner of chinstrap.
~ Dimensions ~
The helmet is 30 cm (12 inches) in length and 23 cm (9 inches) wide.
The shrapnel is 25 cm (10 inches) in length.
